Stories are persuasive methods to change the thinking and behaviors of learners and workers. David Hume, the Scottish philosopher, relates stories with emotions and passions. “Emotions call for action, whereas, logic stops actions.” In webinars, there is so much focus on presenting logical content that it makes them boring and unappealing.
Ray has taught thousands of designers, developers, and presenters the persuasive art of using stories in webinars. In the session, you will learn:

Many webinar presenters and trainers facilitate webinars and virtual sessions with only two tracks - the boring and low-impact tracks. Successful facilitators, on the other hand, are good at balancing at least fifteen (15) different methods. These methods help achieve the full usefulness of content and high impact engagement. Furthermore, why are we, adults and children alike, love shadow shows? In learning design, the practices and principles of Design Thinking has taken roots and with it is the concept of Personas. Personas is a method in defining a learner profile with the intent of understanding the needs, goals and other behaviors that represent the learner. Designers use imagery, puppetry and cartoons to prepare personas.
The session focuses on using Personas, puppetry and cartoons as a way to help participants view the desired learning outcomes. In the session, you will learn:
