Conversations on "How to Add Real-Work Experience in your Lessons"

Details
Wed, Mar 17, 2021 at 11AM - 11:45AM Pacific / 2PM - 2:45PM Eastern
We all want to accelerate learning by adding experiences to our “instruction lessons.” The trouble is that, most of the time, “instruction lessons” (telling exact answers) and experience lessons (finding solutions at work) are not always compatible.

In this next conversation webinar, we will discuss how to connect “instruction lessons” and experience lessons through using conduits  - also known as the “connectors”, “headers and footers”, “couplers”, and “extenders” of your training program. These conduits extend the investment you are making in “instruction lessons” into real-work experiences. We will show examples and some steps in creating learning conduits.

Our conversation will cover the following topics:
  • Connecting safety instructions with finding unknown risks
  • Improving listening skills and then observing others
  • Following procedures and then dealing with the differences in them
  • Understanding the policy and then initiating actions on violations
  • And others

Let us amplify our exchange of ideas. IMPORTANT - complete the “My Scaling Capability” Exercise before the session. This will help you prepare for the session. Should you have any questions, please send them in advance so we can discuss it more deeply.
