    I'm in agreement about this. Reflection is key to remembering ideas. But I'm wondering if this works best with smaller groups? With a larger group, it may take quite a bit of time to engage most of the students. (And then you lose some of your time to present remaining content). Anybody else have thoughts about this?

      Eileen, Thanks. I agree with you and also depending on what your goals are. Reflections are best done when you provide learners an early activity to reflect on issues and real-impacts of the content. Let them respond in a discussion room, like this. Then we can summarize or pick highlights and cover it in the webinar session. For me learner reflections can be individualized. In the webinar, when I ask the learners to reflect, I allow them 1-2 minutes to reflect on a question, then use chat or video in ZOOM. I do this only if it is necessary for the reflections.     I love the sardine can analog. The learning culture in our agency is definitely events-based with little to no requirement for making sure the learning is applied. I am working to try to change this, but have only been able to take baby steps at this point. However, I plan to keep making changes for those trainings that are under my control and to work to change the overall culture of the agency. The strategy presented in this resource will be my guideline going forward.
